| Over the winter of 1994-95 a new structure was
laid down to make a large terrace next to the house, a level croquet lawn just
beyond it and raised mounds along the western boundary. Hedges and lines of pleached trees across the site now shape well-defined spaces and frame view lines, creating a garden to wander through. |
